Yolanda joined the Grannie on the Move team in 2022. She has been working with seniors since 1994 when she started her career as a CNA in skilled nursing. Yolanda’s love for seniors started with her grandparents, whom she personally cared for. After a few years, the decision was made to move her grandmother into assisted living.

This facility is where Yolanda’s journey into leadership in senior living began as she served in that community as their Resident Care Coordinator. Yolanda loved this job and fortunately, she had a wonderful mentor there named Cathy who saw potential in her.

A couple of years later Cathy hired and trained Yolanda to be the Administrator of two new memory care facilities. These beautiful communities maintained 100% census and had the lowest employee turnover rate in the company under Yolanda’s leadership because of the team she built. Her success resulted in multiple promotions that ultimately brought her to Boise and we are so glad it did!

Yolanda spends her free time with her kids enjoying anything outdoors in the beautiful Idaho landscape.

Yolanda’s experience and commitment bring a history of dedication to our seniors and we are delighted to have her on our team.
